SLAF Station Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) celebrated its 21st anniversary on 25 Jan 2019 under the guidance of the Commanding Officer, Group Captain SN Fernandopulle. In view of the anniversary SLAF Station BIA carried out a shramadana campaign at Browns Beach Negombo, a Fatigue programme at Bolawalana Church and a Blood Donation Programme at the Station premises on 22 January 2019.

The anniversary celebration began with a parade reviewed by the Commanding Officer followed by an Elle Tournament at Station Sports Ground with the participation of all personal. The day’s proceeding were concluded with an All Ranks Lunch at the Station Welfare Canteen.
