Felicitation Ceremony for Students who Performed Well at G.C.E. A/L and Grade 5 Scholarship Exam -2018
In keeping with a concept of recognizing academic achievements of children of SLAF personnel and civilians employed by the SLAF, the Seva Vanitha Unit organized a programme to felicitate students who performed extremely well at the Grade 5 Scholarship examination and GCE A/L Examination during the year 2018. The programme was held today (30 January 2019) at the AFHQ Auditorium under the patronage of the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy.
One hundred and eleven (111) students who obtained marks above 175 at Grade 5 examination and a student who obtained three “A’s for A/L’s were eligible and each individual was provided with a financial gift by the Seva Vanitha Unit of the Sri Lanka Air Force.
The Commander of the Air Force and Chairperson of the Seva Vanitha Unit of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Mrs. Anoma Jayampathy congratulated and expressed their best wishes to the students who succeeded in the examinations during the ceremony.
Members of the SVU, Officers and Parents of the children were also present on the occasion.
