SLAF Angampora Display Team Publicity Program launched in Colombo

The SLAF Angampora team, the winners of the
first ever Sri Lankaˈs Got Talent Show organized by Sirasa TV, launched
an island wide awareness and publicity program last Friday (15 February
2019) under the auspices of the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal
Kapila Jayampathy at the Rifle Green
Grounds.
Following their success at the Sri Lanka’s Got Talent competition, the Sri Lanka Air Force Angampora Committee led by Air Commodore CB Labrooy, with the blessing of the Commander, conducted the first of a series of events titled ˈAngam Medillaˈ. This event was open free of Charge to the public and saw over two thousand (2000) spectators filling in to the Rifle Green Grounds to witness this historic event.
Members of the Air Force Board of Management and several other dignitaries were also present to witness the event.
The main concept behind this endeavor is to promote the indigenous art of Anganpora among the general public of Sri Lanka.
