The second day of the 20th Guwan Hamuda Papedi Sawariya ended in front of M/S David Pieris (Pvt) Ltd Anuradhapura yesterday having covered a distance of 154 km.  Sri Lanka Navy cyclist Prabash Madushanka won the 2nd leg of Guwan Hamuda Papedi Sawariya while Madushanka Fernando of Sri Lanka Air Force and Chamika Sandun Kumara of Super Wheelers finished in second and third respectively.

The third (final) leg of the race will begin today (03 March 2018) at 0830hrs from Anuradhapura. The third leg will cover a distance of 135Km and will finish in Polonnaruwa.

The Women's' race will also start today (03 March 2018) from Dambulla and finish in Polonnaruwa covering a distance of 65 km.
