Anticipate thrills of adrenaline pumping motor racing as the Sri Lanka Air Force hosts Rotherham Circuit Meet 2010 on Sunday, 08 August.

The premiere racing event which will kick off at the Katukurunda, is expected to draw throngs of racing enthusiasts from all over the island.

A press conference for the event chaired by Chief of Defence Staff and the Commander of Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Roshan Goonetileke was held on 04 August at the Air Force Headquarters auditorium.

In addition Chairman of the SLAF Racing, Air vice Marshal Rohitha Ranasinghe, officials from the SLAF Racing Committee and SLADAR (Sri Lanka Association of Racing Driver and Riders) also attended the forum.

Sponsors for the motor racing event also attended the meeting where cheques of sponsorship were handed over to Air Force Chief.

 Bank of Ceylon is the principal sponsor for the Rotherham Circuit Meet 2010. Mobitel  Pvt Ltd, Browns Group, Exide, CEAT and Coca-Cola will be co-sponsors. The print media sponsor for the event is ANCL while electronic media partners of Rotherham Circuit Meet 2010 are ABC Radio Network and SLRC.
