A newly constructed building was handed over by the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy today (9 March 2019) to Mahakandiya Primary School, Uhana in view of the 68th Air Force Anniversary Celebrations.

Construction work of the project was carried out by SLAF Station Ampara under the supervision of the Commander and the Directorate of Civil Engineering. The Handing Over Ceremony was witnessed by the Director Civil Engineering, Air Vice Marshal MRK Samarasinghe, Commanding Officer, Group Captain HWR Chandima, Officers and the Other Ranks frorm SLAF station Ampara. The project was funded by the Command Welfare Fund and the Services Institute Fund of SLAF Station Ampara.
