The Information Technology Wing at SLAF Base Ratmalana celebrated its 6th anniversary yesterday (11 March 2019) giving prominence to social services and religious activities. The Working Parade was held on the same day under the purview of the Commanding Officer, Squadron Leader MM Dharmaweera.
 
Leading up to the occasion, on 5th March 2019 a Blood Donation Campaign was organised at the National Blood Bank, Narahenpita. In addition, on 6th March 2019, a 'Shramadanaya' was organized on at the Ashokaramaya Temple in Ratmalana and was followed up with a ‘Bana Program’ at the Temple premises to invoke blessings on all the personnel of the IT Wing, their families and for all its future endeavours.

The celebrations culminated with an inter-section cricket tournament which was also held yesterday (11 March 2019).
