The Annual Sports Meet of the Defence Services College, Colombo was held under the auspices of the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy yesterday (12 March 2019) at the Rifle Green Grounds.

The Commander was received on his arrival by the Principle of the College, Ms. Dhammika Jayanetti and conducted to the main pavilion by the colourful procession made up of children from the College. The Commander addressed the participants of the Sports Meet and staff of the College where he emphasized that children are the future of our nation and that it was an honour and a pleasure to have been invited as the Chief Guest.

The Director Welfare of the SLAF, Air Vice Marshal PDA Mariestella also attended for the event.
