No 1 Air Defence Radar Squadron (ADRS) at SLAF Base Katunayake celebrated its 13th anniversary on 14 February 2019 under the guidance of the Commanding Officer, Wing Commander NP Udagedara. In view of the anniversary No 1 ADRS carried out social service activities and donated dry rations to a needy family in Kurana area on 11th March 2019.

The anniversary celebration began with a parade at the No 1 ADRS. A Cricket Tournament was also conducted with the participation of Officers and all personnel of the Squadron at Base Sport Ground. The day was concluded with an All Ranks Lunch.
