The Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Wing at SLAF Base Katunayake celebrated its 61st Anniversary today (01 April 2019). The Ceremony began with the Formation Day Working Parade which was reviewed by the Commanding Officer, Group Captain DBV Weerasinghe.

Subsequently Sergeant Gamage DD who was awarded the Best Tradesman of the Directorate of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at the Excellence Awards 2018 and Corporal Jayasooriya AS who has displayed exceptional dedication and enthusiasm to improve English knowledge of airmen/airwomen at the Wing were appreciated

In addition a Bana Program was conducted at the Wing to invoke blessing on personnel and the entire SLAF.
