The No. 60 Junior Command and Staff Course commenced on 1st April 2019 at the Junior Command and Staff College, SLAF Academy, China Bay. The Opening Address was delivered by the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Air Force Academy which was followed by the Commanding Officer’s Address. The Chief Instructor and Senior Instructor also briefed the Student Officers about important aspects of the Course. The Student Officers were also given the opportunity for self introductions.

A total of 22 Sri Lanka Air Force Officers, 2 Officers from Sri Lanka Navy, 1 officer each from Bangladesh and Pakistan Air Forces reported up to now to follow the course which is for a duration of 14 weeks (1st April 2019 to 28th June 2019).
