The Colour Awarding Ceremony for the year 2017 of Nalanda College was held yesterday (4 April 2019) at the Malalasekara Theater at the College premises. The Commander of the Air Force and also the President of the Old Nalandians Ranaviru Association, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest. Mr. YMS Gunasekara, the Chief Financial Officer of the Ministry of Education also attended as the Guest of Honour.

This event saw students being awarded Merit awards and College Colours for their outstanding performance in the sporting arena during the year 2017.
