A new house constructed under the 'Guwan Lak Sevana' Housing Project of the Sri Lanka Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit (SVU) was handed over to Flight Sergeant Bowanga BWUK. The house warming ceremony was held under the patronage of the Chairperson of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Anoma Jayampathy at Danthure today (10 April 2019).

This project was funded by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and construction was carried out by Civil Engineering Wing and SLAF Station Mirigama. The overall project was completed under the supervision of the Directorate of Civil Engineering.

Director Civil Engineering, Air Vice Marshal MRK Samarasinghe, Commanding Officer SLAF Station Mirigama, Wing Commander NK Thanippuliarachchi, Officers, other ranks and representatives from SVU were also present at the ceremony.
