Desks and chairs of BT/Puthur Vigneshwara Vidyalayam, Nawaladi Namahal Vidyalayam, BT/ Palameenmadu Vigneshwara vidyalayam and BT/Amirthakaly Sri Sithi Vinayagar Maha Vidyalayam in the Batticaloa area were repaired and handed over to respective schools on the 11th April 2019. The project was conducted on the instructions of the Commander of the Air Force.

A ceremony was organized by the principals and staff of the schools appreciating the contribution made by SLAF Station Batticaloa. Commanding Officer, Wing Commander Sanjaya Vithana and a cross section of the Station attended the function.
