SLAF Station Sigiriya celebrated its 34th Anniversary on 19th April 2019. Simultaneous to the anniversary working parade was held under the purview of the Commanding Officer, Wing Commander DCDB Alwis. The Commanding Officer addressed the gathering and appreciated the service rendered by previous Commanding Officers for the development of the Station and those who made the supreme sacrifice in the name of the country whilst serving at the Station. He appreciated the contributions made to uplift the standards of the station by the Officers, other ranks and civilian staff.

An Elle Tournament was organized with the participation of all personal of the Station in parallel to the anniversary celebration
