The ‘Half Constructed Housing Project’ of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit which expects to complete twenty four (24) houses has completed sixteen (16) houses. The Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Anoma Jayampathy visited and inspected the house of Flight Sergent Kaluwawa (Retired) today (28 May 2019) at Pasyala. This house, which was one of the completed sixteen houses, was handed over today.


This project was funded by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and construction was carried out by Civil Engineering Wing and SLAF Station Mirigama. The overall project was completed under the supervision of the Directorate of Civil Engineering.

Director Civil Engineering, Air Vice Marshal MRK Samarasinghe, Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Mirigama, Wing Commander NK Tanippuliarachchi , Officers and other ranks from SLAF Station Mirigama and representatives from Seva Vanitha Unit were also present for the visit.
