The Laser Run Competition for the year 2019 was organized by the Modern Pentathlon Federation of Sri Lanka from 8th to 9th June 2019 at the Bandaragama Sports Complex. This event is organized as a selection trial for the Asian Pentathlon Championships which is due to held at the end of this month in Kazakhstan.

Corporal Nilaweera HPGAS won the Men’s event while Leading Aircraftwoman Dassanayake LKGKK won the Women’s event. In addition, Leading Aircraftwoman Hemamali AKPHK came in 3rd place in the Women’s Event as well.
