The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sumangala Dias paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva at the Navy Headquarters premises today (19 June 2019).

The Air Force Commander was received with a Guard of Honour at Navy Headquarters. After a discussion on matters of mutual interest, mementos were exchanged between the two Commanders to mark the occasion of the first official call on by the 17th Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force.
