Women’s Wing and Command Legal Department Conducts 4th “Women’s Rights” Programme

The SLAF Women’s Wing together with Command Legal Department organized a series of programmes on “Women’s Rights” in order to educate serving women of the Sri Lanka Air Force on rights of women. The 4th programme was conducted at SLAF Academy China Bay on 10th July 2019 with the participation of more than 150 Lady Officers and Airwomen from SLAF Academy China Bay, SLAF Station Ampara, SLAF Station Batticaloa, SLAF Station Morawewa, SLAF Station Iranamadu, SLAF Station Palaly and SLAF Regiment Training School Vanni.


The guest lecturers were Assistant Superintendent of Police Bimshani Jasinarachchi and Sub Inspector Priyanka Bandara representing the Director of Bureau for the Prevention of Abuse of Children and Women of Sri Lanka Police. The program was coordinated by the Staff Officer Women’s Wing Squadron Leader EMCG Ekanayake.

Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
