Commander's Inspection of SLAF Base Katunayake - 1st Session

The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sumangala Dias, conducted the 1st Session of the Commander’s Inspection of Sri Lanka Air Force Base Katunayake today (18 July 2019).
The Commander reviewed the Commander’s Inspection Parade commanded by the Base Commander of SLAF Base Katunayake, Air Commodore HSS Thuiyacontha, and awarded Certificates of Commendation to 3 Warrant Officers, 20 Senior Non Commissioned Officers, 5 Junior Non Commissioned Officers, 2 Airmen, an Airwoman and a civilian during the parade for their meritorious contributions to the Base in particular and to the Air Force in general.
During the course of the inspection the Commander visited Sector I area of the Base. The inspection of remaining areas of the Base will be continued tomorrow (19 July 2019).
