Sri Lanka Aviation Unit in South Sudan (UNMISS) was visited by Force Commander of United Nation Mission South Sudan Lieutenant General Shailesh Sadashiv Tinaikar of India and his team on 26 July 2019. The delegation included Ms. Deborah - Head of Field Office (HOFO), Brigadier  General Mohommad Jahangir Alam (Sector Commander – East), Mr. Liban Haji (Field Administrative Officer) and the Contingent Commanding Officers of India,  Nepal, Korean, Ethiopian and Sri Med Lev II Hospital.
 
The Contingent Commander, Wing Commander KMSPB Kulathunga welcomed the delegation. There was a brief presentation at the Officers’ Mess about the role of Sri Lanka Aviation Unit and a friendly discussion was held on matters of mutual interest. The delegation joined the breakfast hosted at the Officers’ Mess and afterwards exchange of mementos to signify the visit. The event ended with a group photograph of contingent members and delegation.
