The ‘Inter Unit Cycle Champiponship’ a annual feature in the SLAF sports calendar was concluded on 16 August 2010 at  SLAF Base Katunayake Sports Complex. The event is held annually amongst the SLAF Bases/Stations to promote the sport within the SLAF and select competent riders to represent SLAF. Director Inspections & Safety of the SLAF, Air vice Marshal EGJP De Silva graced the occasion as the guest of honour for this event whilst Air vice Marshal GP Bulathsihala, Base commander  SLAFG Base Katunayake Air commodore CR Gurusinghe also participated.

After stiff competition amongst the participating teams SLAF Base Anudradhapura  emerged champs whilst SLAF Base Katunayake Tech Formation became the Runner-up.
