A 16 member Air Force Water Polo Team departed the island last night (23 August 2019) for Bangladesh to participate in a friendly Water Polo tournament with the Bangladesh Air Force under the Sport Exchange Programme from 24th to 30th August 2019.

The Assistant Secretary SLAF Aquatic Sports of the Squadron Leader Duminda Gamage, Team Coach and 13 players will be participating in this visit. This is the first occasion that an SLAF Water Polo Team is visiting Bangladesh for a Sport Exchange Programme Water Polo Tournament.
