SLAF Base Anuradhapura emerged as the champions at the Inter Unit Billiards and Snooker Championship 2019 defeating SLAF Base Katunayake in the finals at the Indoor Stadium, SLAF Base Katunayake yesterday (23 August 2019).

During the open event, Squadron Leader LKMKB Alawala of SLAF Station Piduruthalagala and Leading Aircraftwoman Weerasinghe WMSH of SLAF Base Hingurakgoda won the Men’s and Women’s Open Championships respectively.

The Director Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Air Commodore HMB Herath graced the occasion as the Chief Guest of the finals. Chairman SLAF Billiards and Snooker, Group Captain PSN Fernando, Officers and Other Ranks were also present to witness the event.
