Leading Aircraftman Madura Peiris secured 1st place in the Standard 125cc event at the Vijayabahu Motorcross 2019 held yesterday (25 August 2019) at Boyagane. He also won the Commander of the Sri Lanka Army Challenge Trophy. In addition, Leading Aircraftman Madura Peiris came third in the 125 cc Forces Event and 125cc Racing Event as well.

Madura Peiris who was inducted to the SLAF Motor Racing Team in the year 2012 has been able to bring honour and glory to the SLAF through his capabilities in the racing.
