Admin and Management Performance Development Module

The Administrative and Management performance Development Module (Second Session No 02 Course) for Base Commanders and Commanding Officers commenced on 28 August 2019 at Sri Lanka Air Force Academy China Bay and concluded today (30 August 2019).

The inauguration was marked by the address by the Commandant of the Academy, Air Commodore RAUP Rajapaksa and followed by the address of the Commanding Officer of the Junior Command and Staff College, Group Captain SDGM Silva.

The aim of this training module was to develop Administrative and Management performance capabilities of Base Commanders and Commanding Officers in the Air Force to take up challenges in the organizational culture and administrative environment.

This module enhances the standardization of command in strategic decision making. This enables the Base Commanders and Commanding Officers to acquaint themselves with currently laid down procedures and regulations and develop awareness with the sharing of unique experiences encountered during carrying out of their duties and responsibilities.

This training session covered a vast subject scope with lectures and fruitful discussion sessions conducted by competent mentors of subject areas.
