A 16 member of Sri Lanka Air Force Men’s Water Polo Team left the country on 23 August 2019 to participate in a friendly Water Polo Tournament with the Bangladesh Air Force under the Sport Exchange Programme. The SLAF Team emerged as the victors during the Water Polo encounter with Bangladesh Air Force.

The match was held on 29th August 2019 at the National Swimming Complex, Mirpur, Dhaka. The SLAF team won by 3-2 penalties defeating the Bangladesh Air Force team. Leading Aircraftman Premarathne GMSK was adjudged as the best player of the tournament

The SLAF Water Polo team concluded a successful visit and returned to the country today (31st August 2019).
