The outgoing Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Koggala, Group Captain HTH Dharmadasa RWP, RSP, USP, Pg Dip (Def. Mgt) handed over duties to Group Captain VGGB Piyasiri during the traditional Change of Command Parade yesterday (16 September 2019).

Group Captain HTH Dharmadasa  RWP, RSP, USP, Pg Dip (Def. Mgt)  took over Command of SLAF Station Koggala on 18 January 2017 and will be proceeding to SLAF Station Morawewa as Commanding Officer.

Group Captain VGGB Piyasiri held the appointment of Officer in Charge Printing SLAF TTS Eka prior to being appointed as the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Koggala.

The ceremonial Handing Over/Taking Over Parade took place at the Station Premises and was commanded by Wing Commander NV Sarath.

The Outgoing Commanding Officer addressed the parade and all personnel of the Station and thanked them for the support they had extended during his tenure as the Commanding Officer.
