Unique Cultural Musical Extravaganza

The China Cultural Centre with the patronage of the Embassy of Peoples’ Republic of China in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Air Force conducted “UNIQUE CULTURAL MUSICAL EXTRAVAGANZA” on 29 September 2019 at Sri Lanka Air Force Trade Training School, Ekala with the participation of the Chinese Orchestra of China National Opera and Dance Drama Theater and the Directorate of Performing Arts of the Sri Lanka Air Force.
Both orchestras performed unique classical music as well as popular music and a collaborated performance at the finale. The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Sumangala Dias and President of the SLAF Seve Vanitha Unit Mrs. Prabavi Dias graced the event as the Chief Guests. Director Aeronautical Engineering of SLAF Air Vice Marshal MD Rathnayake, Air Secretary Air Commodore Senanyake, Commanding Officer of Sri Lanka Air Force Trade Training School Ekala along with the Director of the Chinese Culture Centre Mr. Yue Liwen, head of the delegation and representatives of the Chinese Embassy Graced the event. Officers, family members of Sri Lanka Air Force personnel, airmen and airwomen participated to witness the unique musical evening.
