Newly appointed Commander of the Sri Lanka Army, Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva called on the Commander of Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Marshal Sumangala Dias this morning (07 October 2019).

A Guard of Honour was conferred by the Colour Wing of SLAF. After the inspection of the parade, the new Army Commander was received by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Colombo, Air Vice Marshal Camillus Labrooy and Officers of SLAF Headquarters.

Official plaques were exchanged between the two commanders at the Commander’s Office. The members of the Air Force board of Management were also present at the occasion.
