In line with 41st Anniversary of SLAF Base Vavuniya and under Community Service Projects, a new house was constructed for a deprived family in Kudakachchakkodiya area. The labour force contribution for this project was solely provided by SLAF Base Vavuniya. The house was for a widowed mother whose husband had expired while serving in the Civil Security Department and has a 9 year old son. The Officers and all ranks of SLAF Base Vavuniya and their families collectively contributed towards this generous cause and were able to donate a fully equipped kitchen as well as a well-equipped Bathroom for the house.
