SLAF Trade Training School Ekala Wins Inter Unit Power Lifting Championship 2019
SLAF Trade Training School (TTS) Ekala emerged as the Men's and Women's Champions at the Inter Unit Power Lifting Championship 2019 which concluded yesterday evening (8th November 2019) at the SLAF Trade Training School, Ekala.
SLAF Base Katunayake and SLAF Station Colombo became the Men’s and Women's Runners Up respectively.
Flight Sergeant Lasantha RMPPRC from the SLAF Regiment Training School in Vanni and Leading Aircraftwoman Gankanda GDIN from the SLAF Trade Training School were adjudged the Best Male and Female Lifters respectively.
Director Health Services of the SLAF, Air Vice Marshal (Dr.) LR Jayaweera graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Commanding Officer the SLAF Trade Training School, Officers and Other Ranks were also present to witness the finals and the Awards Ceremony.
