The Graduation Ceremony of the 4th batch of the Basic Training Course in Aircraft Maintenance (BTC in AM) under Aeroplane turbine category B.1.1 at Helitours Technical Training Center was held at Auditorium at the SLAF Trade Training School Ekala yesterday (13th of November 2019). Air Vice Marshal MD Rathnayake, the Director Aeronautical Engineering graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and gave away certificates and awards to 22 participants of the 4th batch who passed out.

The Commanding Officer the School and the Training Manager of HTTC Group Captain Muditha Mahawattage with other HTTC appointment holders and invited officers participated for the event.

The following trainees received special awards during the ceremony.

Best Student in Theory      - NL Galkolage
Best Student in Practical   - BKI Beligala
First in Order of Merit          - NL Galkolage


The Helitours Technical Training Center is an approved Training Center by the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka and has been in service for 2 years conducting Basic Training Courses in Aircraft Maintenance for the civilian students as a basic qualification for the Aircraft Maintenance License issued by Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka.
