Chief of Naval Staff of the Indian Navy Calls on the Commander of the Air Force

The Chief of Naval Staff of the Indian Navy, Admiral Karambir Singh called on the Commander of the Air Force at Air Force Headquarters this morning (20 December 2019).

The Chief of Naval Staff was received by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Colombo, Air Vice Marshal CB Labrooy where he was accorded a guard of honour. Thereafter, Admiral Singh was conducted to the Air Secretariat where he was warmly received by the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sumangala Dias.

After a cordial discussion at the Commanders Officer, the visiting Admiral was introduced to the Members of the Air Force Board of Management. Signifying the event, mementos were also exchanged between the visiting Chief of Naval Staff and the Commander of the Air Force.

Admiral Karambir Singh who is on a four day visit to Sri Lanka is scheduled to attend the passing out parade of Midshipmen at the Naval and Maritime Academy, Trincomalee on 21st December 2019 as the Chief Guest.

Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
