Under the directives of the Director Logistics and the Director Training of Sri Lanka Air Force, a Refresher Course for the Catering Assistants was conducted and concluded at the Hospitality Management School of SLAF Station Sigiriya. The training programme commenced on 16 December 2019 and concluded on 24 December 2019. 10 Catering Assistants participated for the training programme representing different SLAF establishments.
 
During the training programme trainees participated in different types of menu preparation practical sessions including Sri Lankan and international breakfast, Indian food, Courses Menus, Functional food items and snacks. The practical skills of the trainees were uplifted through the service of experts serving in leading hotels in the vicinity.
