The Children's Party of Air Force Headquarters and SLAF Station Colombo was held yesterday (30 December 2019). A large number of personnel serving at SLAF Station Colombo and Air Force Headquarters along with their families participated.

The programme commenced at 1500 hrs and comprised of an array of entertainment which included a Magic Show, Air Dog Show, games for children, music and bouncers with water sports. Fast food outlets added to the fun and frolic, while Santa Clause also made an appearance. The Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Mayuri Prabhavi Dias graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and was received by the Commanding Officer SLAF Station Colombo Air Vice Marshal CB Labrooy.

The Annual Station Get Together was held on the same evening where a colourful musical evening was arranged by the organizing committee of SLAF Station Colombo. The event was made even more exciting with a fireworks display and guest performances from artists such as Romesh Sugathapala, Rodnie Warnakulasooriya, Athma Liyanage, Supriya Abeysekara, K Sujeewa and Imali Pathirana who was a Ranaviru Real Star finalist.
