A Pirith Chanting Ceremony followed by an Alms Giving was conducted at the Research and Development Wing SLAF Base Katunayake under the guidance of the Commanding Officer, Group Captain SWCP Bodhiseela on the 14th and 15th of January 2020. This was conducted to invoke blessing on those who made the supreme sacrifice and who are serving at present.

The event was attended by of Base Commander of SLAF Base Katunayake, Air Commodore HSS Thuyacontha, Commanding Officers of formations at SLAF Katunayake, Officers, Other Ranks and Civilian staff with their family members.
