SLAF Baseball Team emerged victorious by defeating the Royal Blues Baseball Club 12-11 at the closely contested the Grand Final of the National Baseball Knockout Tournament also known as the Malinda Arumadura Memorial Baseball Trophy 2020.

The tournament was conduct by the Sri Lanka Amateur Baseball Softball Association from 8 February to 7 March 2020 at the Japan Sri Lanka Friendship Baseball Grounds at Diyagama. This tournament was played on double knock out basis where 17 teams participated this year. The SLAF completed the tournament as the unbeaten team.

The Commissioner General of Prisons, Mr. Chandana Ekanayake graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Chairman SLAF Baseball, Air Commodore SKA Senaratne, Secretary SLAF Baseball Group Captain CJ Hettiarachchi and officials from the Sri Lanka Armature Baseball Softball Association along with other Baseball enthusiastic players and spectators witness the final match.

Leading Aircraftman Kasun Kumara from the SLAF won the Player of the Match award as fellow teammates Corporal Dinesh Weerasinghe and Leading Aircraftman Sameera Sandaruwan won the Best Fielder and Best Pitcher awards. Wathsalya Gamage of the Royal Blues won the Best Batter Award and the Most Valuable Player award.
