The Awarding ceremony of National Championship conducted by the Federation of Motorcycle Sports in Sri Lanka was held at the Eagles’ Lagoon View Banquet Hall, Katunayaka on 14 March 2020.

Leading Aircraftman Madura Peiris was adjudged the National Champion in the Standard/Modified Street Trail 125cc for the year 2019. In addition, Sergeant Susantha Dissanayaka was also adjudged the National Champion for best Tuner/Technician for the same event.

Madura Peiris who was inducted to the SLAF Motor Racing Sport in the year 2012 has been able to bring honor and glory to the SLAF through his capabilities in the racing.
