SLAF Contributes to Government’s Efforts to Control the COVID-19 Outbreak in Sri Lanka

The first Quarantine Centre set up by the Sri Lanka Air Force in Vanni is currently housing 206 passengers who have returned from overseas. In addition the Directorate of Health Services are also in the process of establishing Quarantine Centre’s in Palaly, Iranamadu and Mullaitivu.
These Centre at Vanni and the new Centre’s which are coming up are manned by Medical professionals of the Air Force hand in hand with officials of the Ministry of Health. The aim of these Centre’s is to assist the government’s efforts in combating the Novel Corona Virus outbreak in Sri Lanka.
