In assistance to the government’s efforts to ease the stress levels of the people who stay at homes in the districts which have been declared as high risk zones the SLAF Band conducted yet another entertainment program yesterday (11 April 2020) for residents of Mihindusenpura Housing Scheme in Dematagoda.

Most of the people in Colombo are spending a self-quarantined period and staying at home to protect themselves from the coronavirus. Consequently, on the directives of the Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Sumangala Dias, the SLAF Band been conducting these musical programs for the residents of high rising housing schemes in order to entertain them and to push away their loneliness and anxiety.

During the program, residence were made aware of proper health practices to avoid the spread of the coronavirus during the programs and it was well supported by the residents who cheered from their homes.
