The Air Force Rowing team participating at the 26th National Rowing Championships and rowed in style to emerge Champions of the Men’s Over 19 Category and were awarded the Major General Percy Fernando Memorial Trophy.

In addition the team also emerged as Runners up in the Men’s Open category. The SLAF "over 19" team won three gold medals out of four events it participated  in whilst  in the  men’s open  the team bagged one gold medal and three silver medals.
