The SLAF Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear and Explosive Wing conducted disinfection operations for 235 Sri Lankan Passengers who arrived from Germany on 06 June 2020 at Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport.

On the instructions of the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sumangala Dias, a special CBRNE Team led by Pilot Officer SKS Rukshan conducted the operations. During the operation all 235 Passengers, their belongings and the aircraft that they arrived in were disinfected by the CBRNE Team.
