Seva Vanitha Unit donates Dry Rations to Indigenous Families in Dabana

The Sri Lanka Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit organized a donation programme for families at the Dabana Village in Mahiyanganaya yesterday (9 June 2020). The dry ration items required for this programme were collected through well wishes and distributed amongst approximately 150 indigenous families who were affected by the health safety measures taken to control the spread of COVID-19 in Sri Lanka.
This donation was organized under the guidance of the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sumangala Dias and the Chairperson of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Mayuri Prabhavi Dias in liaison with the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Ampara. The Chief of Sri Lanka’s indigenous people, Uruwarige Wannila Aththo also participated for the donation programme.
