The annual inter formation swimming meet of SLAF Base Anuradhapura was held on 16th September 2010 at the Base swimming pool.

All personnel, according to their sections were grouped in to six teams. At the end of the event team no. 04 won the championship whilst Cpl Premaratna of team no. 05 won the award for the best swimmer.

2nd Place          -           05th Team (personnel of General Engineering Wing, Electronics  &                   Telecommunication Squadron, Supply section, Armory section, Air Dog Section)

3rd Place           -           06th Team ( personnel of Air Defence, 212 Regiment field squadron – Charley Bravo   section)


An exhibition water polo match was played after the swimming meet. The Base Commander of SLAF Base Anuradhapura, Group Captain PDKT Jayasinghe graced the occasion as the chief guest.
