On the direction of the Director of Logistics of the SLAF, Air Vice Marshal WMKSP Weerasinghe and under the supervision of the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Sigiriya, Wing Commander Chinthaka Alwis, a Catering Assistants and Ground Stewards Refresher training programme conducted from 29 June to 14 July 2020 at the Hospitality Management School at SLAF Station, Sigiriya.
 
The training programme intended to enhance the document handling and practical skills of the trainees. During the course the trainees participated in different practical sessions which included bar operations, cocktail preparation, working on E-PASS, theme nights and different menu preparations.
