An Indian National Defence College delegation consisting of 16 senior officers paid a visit to Sri Lanka Air Force headquarters yesterday (20th September 2010).

The contingent was welcomed by the Chief of Defence Staff and the Commander of the Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Roshan Goonetileke  who held an informal  discussion  after which plaques were exchanged.

Later the Director Air Operations, Air Vice Marshal Kolitha Goonetileke delivered a presentation on the role and functions of the Sri Lanka Air Force and elaborated on the role played during the humanitarian effort.
The delegation will visit the SLAF Academy china Bay and SLAF Base Anuradhapura during their stay in Sri Lanka.
