SLAF Hospital at Katunayake celebrated its 73rd anniversary on 23 July 2020. The staff of the Hospital came out with a programme to uplift the life style of the elders with the guidance of the Commanding Officer of the Hospital, Air Commodore NDB Abeysekera at the Welcome Village Elderly Home, Makadura.

The programme consisted of a shramadhana campaign to clean up the surrounding, a Medical Clinic for the residential elders, an entertainment programme which included musical session and drama, Morning refreshments with tea, evening refreshments with tea and dinner for all the residential elders of the Home.
