The “Nalanda Ranaviru Upahara” organized by Nalanda Junior Old Boys’ Association was held for the 19th consecutive year at Nalanda College premises today (29 July 2020).

The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sumangala Dias graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The family members of War Heroes who laid down their lives for the country were also present for the event.

The foremost aim of the Nalanda Ranaviru Upahara is to show gratitude for the sacrifices made by members of the Security Forces and to invoke merit and blessings on them. Floral tributes were made to Nalandian’s who made the ultimate sacrifice.  This was followed by religious activities.
