The Seva Vanitha Unit of SLAF Station Ampara conducted a blood donation campaign on 7 Aug 2020 at the Station Hospital. The campaign was conducted in collaboration with the Blood Bank of the District General Hospital Ampara and SLAF Station Ampara, under the guidance of the President of the Seva Vanitha Unit at SLAF Station Ampara, Mrs Shanika Fernando.

The intention of this campaign was to donate blood to the National Blood Transfusion Service in order to cater for the blood product demand during the prevailing health situation in the country. The Commanding Officer, All Officers and other ranks of the station participated for the event.
